I am requesting the Secret Stories® tool kit from Teachers Pay Teachers. The Secret Stories® program is designed to supplement phonics curriculum by activating already existing learner frameworks of social and emotional experiences through songs, posters, and relevant "secrets" for the students. The kids are able to practice phonics in school and at home with take home posters for parents. This supplemental program brings letters and phonic patterns to life and helps to fully engage students. This program is based on the science of reading and "cracking codes." As a teacher, I will be able to give my students tools to learn to read. In turn, the students will be able to use this knowledge to enhance their reading and writing at their own pace. This program can be found on Teacher Pay Teachers and completely printed from that website. This keeps the program affordable.
