Having the addition of these materials(scissors, pencils, colored pencils, pencil sharpener, etc.) to our classroom will allow us to explore more areas which will ultimately result in my students being more involved in their education. In an age where computers have taken over, it's helpful for these students to grab a clipboard and head outside to practice those real-world situations taught in the classroom.
As a teacher, I never want any of my students to not have the materials and tools needed for success.
These added resources will allow my students to have more hands-on learning experiences such as going on walks around our campus to explore the real-world scenarios we’ve studied in the classroom (such as a trip to our dairy barn to check out the process of fermentation!). It will also give them more hands-on projects such as coloring/labeling activities and the opportunity to create displays to demonstrate what they’ve learned while giving them the opportunity to let their creative minds explode!
All in all, it will help equip our classroom for all future lessons and assignments for the children of the agricultural future!
