My students struggle with learning because they have needs for movement. The standard school chair or desk does not offer the various movements that restrict my students mind. When my students can't get that extra energy out, their minds stay focused on not moving and drift away from the learning going on in the classroom. Flexible seating will allow my students to focus and engage their minds in deeper learning while exerting their high energy is a positive manner. Flexible seating will also allow other students to focus on learning and not on the movement and behaviors of their peers.
