A brand new book shelf stocked with new books would be used in many ways. We always encourage students to take pride in the classroom and community. Having a new center would make the kids feel excited to being their literacy journey. Our classroom uses literature across the entire curriculum so these themed books will be used not only for language arts but also as supplemental material for science and social studies, math and art! Our class demographics include a large percentage of English Language learners. Exposure to high quality literature at a young age is essential for their academic growth. Please help our keiki thrive!
