Many of my actively participating students have to handwrite, math equations, in our virtual-live classes by using their regular mouse. This is not frustrating, but, also, it could be discouraging many from, ever, participating, due to the immense peer-pressure for this age-group (14-19 years old teens). I'm using one of the writing pads myself and I can attest to its efficiency and applicability to handwrite with accuracy, speed and quality anything, school/math related, on a virtual board. As in baseball, hockey, tennis, one can't play the sport without the needed appropriate hand extension, similarly, in a math class, where the hand writing is a MUST, the online students require the right tool: a writing pad. I do hope to boost my students love for problem solving, critical thinking and success, by enriching their class work outcome from the very foundation of it: the handwriting.
