My students need headphones to allow them to practice their English oral skills before the TELPAS exam as well as allow them to hear their own voice recorded. I also gave some special education students who need oral administration with reading to help them comprehend books. Audiobooks have proven to improve the pronunciation of emergent bilinguals and captivate their attention on the books. Students will benefit from independent reading using the headphones in the classroom. Ever since virtual learning, students have had a big need for headphones to listen to educational videos and reflect on their learning with recorded lessons from class. The fifth graders need this opportunity to allow them to be responsible readers and grow linguistically and academically.
