My students have a range of unique needs therefore they work best with flexible seating. Sometimes they work separately but most of our day is spent in a group, where they need the help of a teacher or support staff. A kidney/half moon table would help tremendously with these group-work times. Myself or a support staff will be able to assist more than one student at a time. It will also allow for us all to be together for morning meeting. Our current table is for much younger students and is not appropriate for my students. The hands on activities for basic phonetics and social emotional learning would be a wonderful addition to our classroom.
