The children that will be impacted by this project have sensory challenges and developmental challenges that impact their learning. These children also struggle to engage in meaningful play that will allow them to connect with their typical peers. This project will impact the lives of some of the most complex learners in our school. These items will hopefully meet many of their sensory needs. Specifically the swing, as our school does not have a swing indoor or outdoor on the playground. Many of the other items requested will allow the children to engage with items with other children to help facilitate social skills. The children have shown high interest to some similar items that will impact their gross motor development, social development and meet their sensory needs.

About my class
