These are resources for an inclusive classroom where all backgrounds and cultures are inclusive- from the construction paper to the bandaids to the books- they see themselves as loved and valued for who they are and where they come from. My selections also include mirrors and windows for girls and for gay and lesbian students. Please help me, a new teacher, show her students how much she loves and values them through these mirrors and windows. I will use the books in my literacy lessons, so students see themselves in our books, and the supplies so my students see themselves in all we do.
