As the equity chairperson for my school, I am seeking literature written by and featuring diverse individuals to enhance our curriculum and provide a real-world reflection of characters for all learners. These books will prove as educational tools by which to teach the standards, staff development materials for equity training, and free reading texts for students searching for themselves in the books they read. My goal is to have a library that is full of representation, diversity, and core principles of humanity learned from reading across a variety of texts.

About my class
