We will be reading, discussing with small groups and as a class with Socratic Seminars, analyzing, and writing about this book, Bless Me, Ultima. In addition to reading this novel, we will also be researching and learning about the time period, the culture shown, and talking about the importance of diverse representation in literature and art. We will discuss how the story and its themes apply to the present and to our students' lives, interests, and experiences. We think our high school students will really like and be engaged in this book, and we're excited to give them the opportunity to read it!
