These materials will specifically assist my new students with in class learning projects, both independently and through group collaboration. The teacher before me is taking her materials, so I am in need of items to assist the students like it is the first of the school year. These students are mainly English Language Learners. The resource books requested are graphic novels and will help me create an in class library that will help our ELL population work towards literacy. The legos requested will help with our next unit on geometry. I do not currently have manipulatives, but the legos will help the students create their own geometric shapes and figure out the math equations using a hands on approach. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
