These materials would help my students reach, meet, and surpass their reading goals in a fun, engaging and play base manner. I am a guided reading teacher with students who need a little more practice and help in sounding words out, recognizing words, and putting multiple words together to create a complete sentence. I start my students off by teaching them the letter names and their sounds. We then progress in putting those letters and sounds together to make words. We talk about consonants and vowels and then introduce CVC words. Once we become familiar with CVC words we start making and reading small sentences. It is at this point where we can now read and expand our minds and imaginations and dive into the wonderful world of literature. I believe that the activities I am asking for are will help my students learn faster and in a much more fun and engaging manner; especially for my newer students whom are mostly spanish speaking and are learning to speak, read, and understand the English language. My students and I would be very grateful if we could be provided with these materials since our school is still a newer and growing school. I thank you for your time and generosity.
