Learning while collaborating. One of the best things for students is independence from the teacher when practicing skills. Students will be able to work together independent from the teacher. These folder games will allow students to work on improving several skills in math and literacy. There has been arguments that learning centers are unnecessary, I disagree. Watching the students interact with each other and being able to understand a concept that was previously difficult is made possible because of activities like this. My students jump at the idea of working together and helping each other. Students will engage in hands-on engaging and exciting activities to help with skills learned in ELAR and Math.
