During virtual learning, many students lost their love for math or really struggled with liking it in the first place. I hope to use these games in my classroom to help bring the love of math back to my students. These games will also help to facilitate working together and building social skills both of which took a huge hit during virtual learning. Social and emotional development are just as important as academics, especially after a year of isolation and quarantine. Students need to have time in the classroom to be social and build lasting friendships. I hope to be the teacher to facilitate that.
