We will use the binders to help them organize their notes, assignments, and test reviews. We will set goals and evaluate our study habits. The use of binders to help students get organized is a research based strategy proven to help them improve their self-regulation skills. All of these assignments will be in one place, so that students can review their learning and build on prior knowledge. Organization is a crucial tool for building independence. Currently we use notebooks, but unfortunately it is difficult to add graphic organizers and other assignments to a notebook, and the notebooks fall apart after a couple of months.
