Students will be able to use different, hands on strategies to learn different coping skills. My students will learn to express their emotions in healthy ways through art. We will be using glue, borox, and food coloring to make our own slime. Orbeez will be used for them to create their own sensory tools such as stress ball. Art supplies will be used to teach students how to channel their emotions in healthy, creative ways. Students will be able to make something that they are proud of while also learning healthy ways to channel their emotions into something positive.
