Using a 3D printer to help make models for the classroom that students can manipulate and help reinforce scientific concepts. Over the last year, students have been focused on a 2-dimensional world due to the pandemic. 3D manipulatives will help with student understanding. The Dremel company has an excellent reputation for educational assistance with professional development training, lesson plans, and student engagement ideas for the classroom. Our Science Club students can use the 3D printer to not only build models for different topics, demonstrations, and science experiments, but also to learn a new technology and keep up to date with the workforce that they will be entering after high school.

About my class
