The use of the soft-start procedure in the classroom will help prepare students for the day through play and exploration! Most adults have some sort of a morning routine that helps them prepare for the day, so why not provide the same opportunity for children! By providing students the opportunity to find an activity that will help them self-regulate in the classroom before we begin the academic part of the day, they are able to develop a sense of community and feel prepared for the day ahead. By donating to our project, you will not only provide students the opportunity to be creative but also improve student attention and focus, which then leads to greater academic achievement!
