The use of miniatures and manipulatives helps our students stay engaged in language based tasks, and provides opportunities grouping, categorizing, and describing objects in non-verbal ways. Providing interactive books and materials is also a great way to combine playtime with the critical development of knowledge and skills. By donating to our project, you will not only help our students with complex communication needs stay engaged in language based activities, but you will give them access to language concepts that they struggle to gain auditorily. Students will be able to develop their basic concepts, vocabulary, and sequencing skills in fun and interactive ways.
