The students are going through a tough transition between the COVID-19 pandemic and returning to school. This corner will allow them to work and take a break with the school therapy dog Koia. Currently, students have nowhere to sit with Koia other than the cold floor while interacting with her. Please help us in creating an enjoyable space for both students and Koia. By allowing students to have a safe space with Koia, they are able to work on their social-emotional needs, as well as enjoy their time being back in the classroom with a positive atmosphere. It has already been noticed to enhance our attendance and student engagement in the school. We are looking to capitalize on this and to grow with more opportunities and connections with students.
