I have a wonderful group of 13 (and growing) preschoolers that have all been identified as having one or more of the following disabilities; Autism, Cognitive Impairments, Speech Apraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Fine/Gross Motor Developmental Delays, and many more. My teaching partner and I incorporate both play and academics to help ensure these students are given the proper environment to succeed and grow. This is my first year as a preschool special education teacher. I worked in the resource room for four years and have really enjoyed the change of pace. Our students come to school eager to learn and see their peers everyday. I couldn't imagine working in a better setting!
