For my lesson my students will make graphic organizers to distinguish between different time periods of history. As of right now we are on the unit of exploration and early colonization. The content material book by Carson Delosa will help me get ideas and more information for my students to complete their assignment. When creating the graphic organizer the students will cut from their construction paper using scissors into a rectangle that we will then fold into the organizer. The students will then write terms and definitions along with drawing pictures using their Crayola crayons for visual representation. Motivation goes along way in my classroom and I want to remind the students at all times that they are capable of accomplishing their dreams. I want to have posters on the walls to push them to strive for their best at all times in and out of their classroom.
