Our project will help improve and increase reading opportunities for ESL and reluctant readers, helping to strengthen their attention span, reading focus, and ultimately assist in their independent reading and academic success by providing books they enjoy and want to read. Students love the selected books, as they had a 'say' in the choices, making them feel empowered, valued, and listened to for their school library choices. Now they will share the joy of reading with their classmates and really improve their writing ability and scope of their written word.

About my class
