Students will enter the amazing world of 3D sculpture with these materials by making a reed and wire animal sculpture. Inspired by the incredible 3D animal sculptures all around the San Diego Safari Park, students will cut and shape the reed then use heavy-duty stainless steel wire to connect the reed to make a frame. These 3D animal sculptures are designed to be exhibited around our school where they will become stations for vining plants to grow on. Learning technical skills while beautifying the school and bringing arts and culture will benefit the students who create the sculptures and inspire the generations of students to come.

About my class
