We use crafting to build confidence in students' abilities and to build relationships through team crafts. We target problem solving and being creative with the materials available to them. We use crafting materials to learn various concepts. We also use craft time to let off steam and put all the negative away. We bring positive focus forward within an all equal and accepted environment where different is good. My students rely on each other individually to learn and work together to complete a set task or challenge. Hands-on play helps learning.
