In my early childhood classrooms, we teach the students how to manage their time and pace themselves during activities; they will use the timers to manage their own time during play and learning activities. We also teach them self-help skills such, cleaning up after themselves and overall maintaining a clean and organized classroom. The students can use the broom to clean up spills and materials; also, the organizers and brushes will help them keep their supplies organized. Teaching them time management skills, organization, and fostering their independence improves how the classroom functions and makes school a pleasant experience .
