Help my students reach their American Dream! As immigrant youth, my students already bring a world of experience to the classroom. By funding my project, you will help my students achieve their biggest dreams- especially when they enter the world as young adults after high school. Computers will help expand our classroom learning and build digital literacy. With computers, students will be able to interact with primary sources and cultural artifacts in a new way and build real-life skills as they'll have the opportunity to evaluate validity of websites and build their own digital projects. New picture dictionaries will help language development of newcomers- especially those who have low literacy in their home language and need the added visual support.
