As we all return from a virtual school year, I find that I need to lean in and assist more students with the social emotional soft skills to be successful in the in-person school setting. I would like to be able to give them workbooks to address their anxiety, stress and anger management concerns. Some students can benefit from fidget items to assist with focus and concentration. Small group and individual sessions will be offered to help students manage stress and anxiety and anger management. They will need these skills to be academically successful as they move though high school to early college success. My students are capable with just a little more support and resources to make it happen. The skills learned will allow them to access more opportunities and be successful in school and life.
