Building a future starts with tools and ideas! My students have high engagement and lots of questions, and we need tools that will make developing more excitement and ideas easy. Having a sharpened pencil should not be the first obstacle. So, the pencils on the list and the pencil sharpener will make class go more smoothly! The dry erase markers will bring ease to our concept development, also. The students need a place to put ideas! The composition notebooks will be helpful while they grapple with ideas, so they'll have plenty of space to show their thinking and also try again. It will also serve as a place to track their growth. We will be able to see how they grew over time by looking back at previous pages of work. Students are more motivated to do well and try hard things if they think it will bring more positive things in the future. The books provide examples of students with a growth mindset, and also different opportunities that education brings. The book, "Fantastic Elastic Brain", proves that the more you try, the stronger you are. It's a good lifelong lesson for students!
