Hello! I currently have the best job in the world, as a Special Education teacher. My students range from the ages of five to eleven. I get to work with students with a range of disabilities such as Down’s Syndrome, Autism, and Intellectual Disability. My students benefit from sensory input and having a cool-down station. These materials would allow me to create an environment to best meet those needs. The seats included will give them adaptable seating to fit their sensory needs. The fidgets included can help students to self regulate, especially when getting Specials instruction with their general education peers. My students strive their hardest to learn social emotional learning skills that do not come so easily to them, still these things can be daunting. Adding some depth, functionality, & sensory input materials to our calming corner will aid greatly in their efforts.
