Students will use these supplies to help further analyze parts of the human body by studying preserved organs, tissues and organ systems from various animal specimens. Using models is essential in the science classroom to help students get a deeper understanding of how our body’s work and what we can do to preserve them. Students will use the magnifying glasses to enlarge the images of pieces of tissue that are dissected from various specimens along with the microscope. Scales will be used to help students measure the various weights of tissue samples to calculate averages and create data tables with that information.
