Our youngest students are being asked to do more and more. The materials that I am requesting are to be used in a small group setting to support the occupational therapy needs of many students in grades PK-2. Play is the work of children! Activities such as building with Magna Tiles and using kid friendly tweezers to pick up and sort small objects help the tiny muscles become stronger. Play allows the child to grow in a developmentally appropriate way and to get ready for holding crayons, pencils and the ULTIMATE REWARD- SCISSORS!!! I hope you will consider this project, strong hands=strong minds!
