The STEAM Park is a great way for my English Learners to use technology to, create, build, and connect background knowledge through the process of collaborative discourse. Students will learn about their communities through hands-on experiences that facilitate the development of their language acquisition/ vocabulary skills through constructive conversations and shared writing experiences. Students will use the engineering process graphic organizer to plan and complete building then discuss how they solved the puzzle. Students will then share out some problems they encountered and how they solved them during whole group discussion.
