Our students often feel confined to the walls of our small one hallway building and the borders of our rural community. Help me encourage them to see that they can be creators and innovators reaching a level to rival those of individuals growing up in more populated areas with more resources. Our school is in financial distress and while our administration sees the importance of the arts for our student's growth- it doesn't get as much funding as our students deserve. A scanner will allow us to scan in projects (including our AP Art Digital Portfolios) to reach an infinite amount of viewers. Editing software to be placed on 5 school computers will give students an opportunity to engage with their art and technology on a different level. Merging our student's passion for art with the growing technological world. Lastly, a physical display board will allow students to feel professional when showcasing their art at our end-of-year showcase.
