These items provide the sensory input or output that they need to help them remain calm and focus. This will help students attend to their work with more efficiency, pay attention better in class, prevent outburst, and control their emotional distress. These items will be used throughout the school for any student that may require sensory input or output. Our plan is to create a sign-out sheet for teachers to take items as they need them for their students. Over the years sensory needs have increased in our building and we do not have enough supplies to go around. This will help ensure all student needs are being met.
