The school district I work in has recently consolidated the high schools, shutting down three of them. As a result, two populations have come together to create our high school. One group never had an art teacher. The other group has had three art teachers over the past two years. Both groups are eager and excited to learn how to draw and paint and want to know more about art history, but my materials are just not supporting their enthusiasm. The populations have come together as one. Everything is coming together, and I want the best for them, especially when it comes to my art class.
