These materials will help keep the students organized, as well as provide an avenue to not lose any work in their backpacks. The goal here is to provide a pouch with supplies for each student in each class. The pouch will have pencils, pens, highlighters, etc that will stay in a designated area in the classroom. Each student will also get a folder that they will place their work into so they won't have to misplace their work. The 6th graders I teach have come into this school year wholly unprepared. This is through no real fault of anyone as we navigate through difficult times. The goal and hope here are to help reestablish being prepared and organized to send them off into the next grade level with the tools to succeed.
