All of my students have trouble affording physical books of their own. Some of them haven't read a book in a couple of years. To add on, books will make a difference in my students' learning by advancing their vocabulary and English comprehension skills at home. Between the ages of 11-13 years old, reading is KEY in growing their minds and education. We will be using the books they read for students to complete book reports and summaries every week. By showing their understanding of main ideas and topics from their literature books, they will improve their reading skills which advances their opportunities to move forward in their educational journeys.
