My students are apart of a Title 1 school. Many of the resources provided at school increases their health and wellness not only at school but at home as well. My class in particular is filled with 33 bilingual students whom english is their second language. Gaining these colorful, fun, hands on learning resources will help increase student engagement, classroom moral, and learning. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, my students need extra support to increase their fine motor skills after learning using mainly iPads for over a year in their homes. Being a first year teacher, and knowing the importance of Daily 5, as well as the many other responsibilities of a teacher, planning curriculum can become overwhelming. Receiving these materials will help create stress free, fun, and engaging Daily 5 rotations.
