Many students (and adults) have become extremely stressed because of COVID. Many of the items I put these funds towards will help promote a calm and safe classroom environment. There are so many restrictions in regard to school now, so I want to give my students differentiation in all ways possible! Giving them different places they can sit to destress and take a break is extremely important to me and will lead to more productivity. A student who is stressed and overwhelmed needs a second to gather themselves so they can move on and continue working, I believe, with flexible seating, this will be possible. It also helps students who have trouble sitting in their regular chairs and need a different option. These funds will go towards my students' social and emotional needs! These resources will promote many of the Nevada Core Standards as they will help prepare my students to be focused and motivate them to be present at school so they can receive instruction.
