As a mathematician, I fully understand the impact of having the right materials to accompany a lesson. It enriches the lesson. My students learn so much more when they are allowed to be creative. I have seen very successful results. The students are fully engaged and participation is amazing. I have seen student skills advance significantly when they are allowed to design, discuss, and communicate with each other. The markers and individual dry erase boards will be used for informal assessments and to assist with team assignments. The posters and clocks will be placed around the classroom to motivate and teach students. Therefore I am asking for your support by helping me provide the best learning experience, environment, methods, and activities for the students in my class. With the acquisition of these materials and supplies, I shall be empowered to design lessons that showcase my student's original works.
