They are an extremely important part of learning to play.he shoulder rests will be used mainly for the second graders that I teach, but some of the shoulder rests will fit the larger size violins, and therefore can be transferred from the elementary to the middle and high school that I teach at! Shoulder rests help with posture and prevents neck and shoulder pain from playing wrong. The shoulder rests will make the students more comfortable, as well as hold the violin properly, and be able to produce a better sound.
