In my art class I want my students to be introduced to different forms of art and that it's not just drawing. Art can come in many forms from designing, drawing, collaging, painting, digital art, sculpture, ceramics, and the list continues! I want them to know that art can have many different forms and that we are all artist in some way. However, my classroom is low on the basic supplies as well as I would love for them to experience working with clay, a child's dream lol. These supplies will not only help fund my drawing and painting project with the paper and colored pencils but it will also provide the students an opportunity to create a ceramics (clay) project with all of the pottery tools. I would like to have the students create something simple, as beginners, but different then doing a coil pot. I think they would enjoy creating tic-tac-toe game boards or delicious paper weight doughnuts, but that can only be possible with the supplies! Thank you for your time and consideration!
