The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students are important to make my classroom and lessons inviting and intriguing. The world of color as in a colored printer, there is always a WOW factor when you see stuff in color. Vocabulary words come alive as do art projects and classroom decor. Next, laminating machine, when group activities are laminated they are meant to last longer and give my students the ability to use whiteboard markers on them to create their own meaning to the lessons being taught. Also, labels are important for everyday labeling of students personal items as well as items in the classroom. Again what doesn't look good on colored paper. I like to color coordinate my subjects so having classroom assignments on the different colored paper will help students recognize each subject at a glance as well as keep them organized. I'm looking forward to using these much needed items in my classroom. Thank you.
