My students attend a Title 1 school. They reside in a socially low economic neighborhood, and come from limited English households. They are sometimes new comers from a different country where education is not high priority on the list. My students are enthusiastic, risk takers and see school as a fun and interactive place. My school holds parenting classes where the parents come and learn ways that they can help their children be successful.
