Within this project, students will be creating their own projects/creations. We learn the importance of community and how money is a big part of it. Students will have to buy their own materials, create them, and sell them to their classmates. Our classroom will turn into a mini-society where my students will create a name, a flag, and have our own money system. Students will be able to create a business plan and make products they want to sell to classmates. Students will use these materials such as paint, beads, yarn, and tiles to make their own creations. This could include jewelry, coasters, keychains, and more. This is an opportunity for students to think outside of the box and create something with the materials given. I can't wait to see what great ideas they come up with! In the end, my students will learn valuable lessons on how to manage money and the important role it plays in our life.
