Throughout virtual learning, I ran an instrumental band using our online platform. Despite the many challenges, students learned to play instruments and performed via video. This month, my students will performing for the very first time together as a festival band. By providing decorations for our stage, our concert will be transformed from a school gym into a winter wonderland. By creating this stage space, students will realize how invested we are in their progress and achievement. This is our opportunity to give our students, families and communities a performance to remember.
