My students each have the opportunity to create a Book Review (commercial). They select a book and read it and then create a Book Review (commercial) by filling out the paper that I have in the library. They bring the paper back to the library after completing it and I read it to the class or classes. This is where it turns into a Book Commercial. I read the Book Commercial to the classes. Each student who brings back a completed book review will get either a book buck or a prize. They may collect book bucks for bigger prizes. So the more books they read the bigger the prizes they get to choose from. The students are fully engaged with this program. They get excited about reading a book and telling about what they read, and some even give a bad review which is really sweet. The students love this program and they don't even realize that they are learning.
