Students will have access to a wider selection of leveled books in the classroom library. Students need to be able to find books at their level that interest them. Students will be able to confidently choose a book they know is a perfect fit and continue to practice their reading skills and build enthusiasm for reading. Each week students get to select a number of books to keep in their book box. One of the books students choose must be a "Just right" book, or a book that is at their current reading level. This is a difficult task and finding the perfect book takes time. This library will help them find the books they need more quickly and confidently.
